Two: Education Packs

This Digital Resource Pack has been designed as a guide for teachers and students – to provide information and insight to support the study of Russell Maliphant Dance Company’s Two (1998). The resource pack is split into Part One and Part Two.

PART ONE will give you key information about the piece, who the collaborators are, interviews with these collaborators, information on the processes and discussion on the creative journey.

PART TWO includes warm ups, links to video clips of extracts of repertoire, creative tasks, choreographic frameworks, roles and responsibilities. It also contains a variety of creative exploration tasks for teachers to work through with their dance students, as well as a variety of tasks that challenge students. All activities provide opportunities to deepen understanding and to make discoveries within the collaborations and the processes used. The tasks will encourage considered choreography, inspire creativity and give dancers an opportunity to develop performance concepts.
