Martin collins
Executive Producer / Director

An award-winning producer, Martin trained in Theatre and Dance at Lancaster University, followed by Dance Theatre and Dance Science at Trinity Laban. Martin is the founder and Director of Artstrust Productions, an arts production company that provides support and infrastructure for emerging dance artists, the development of dance for film, and corporate event management.

Martin is the Executive Director for Russell Maliphant Dance Company, and has been the Executive Director for Boy Blue Entertainment, Darren Ellis Dance, and the Manager of the Centre for Advanced Training at Trinity Laban. He holds long term producing relationships with Dame Evelyn Glennie, Jill Jarman, Darren Ellis, Jonathon Goddard, Maxwell Golden, Lizzi Kew Ross, and others.

He has produced a number of dance films with Boy Blue (BBC2 & Sky Arts) and Danny Boyle (BBC2), been the First Assistant Director for the feature film Young Men by the Ballet Boys (BBC2), Dance Producer and AD of Dance Rebels: A Story of Modern Dance (BBC4), and production coordinator for the 1066: Great Fire of London (Artichoke & BBC1).

Martin has produced a number of public events including Greenwich World Cultural Festival for five years and Cubitt Sessions, a three-week music festival, for Kings Cross; working in partnerships with ENO, Kings Place, Tête-à-Tête, London Brass, Tileyard Music and others.
