Pippa qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2003 after training in the publishing arm of Reed Elsevier. Since then, she has enjoyed a variety of finance roles in the arts and education sector; Royal Shakespeare Company, The Royal Ballet School and English National Ballet, as well as working with a number of small organisations and independent artists on a voluntary basis. Pippa re-joined The Royal Ballet School as Chief Operating Officer at the start of 2017.
Jan began working with moving image and post production after developing techniques in special effects for film and television at companies such as Glassworks and CFC- Framestore. He progressed into design and editing, employed as a motion graphics director for CCLab where he composed music, edited and animated content. He became senior in-house editor at Flynn productions and then began his independent directing career working with Onedotzero. Projects covered areas including live visuals, promos, installations, commercials and emergent technologies. Jan has worked with Lady Gaga, George Michael, Nitin Sawhney and Pet Shop Boys. He works from his studio in London as an image maker, video designer, director, filmmaker and animator.
Harry macauslan (chair)
Harry has worked at J Walter Thompson and Leo Burnett. He is now part of the founding team of a start-up Bank, and also Chairman of a boutique communications agency, an advisor to an investment company, a Trustee of The Mental Health Foundation, a Trustee of Sadler’s Wells Theatre, Chairman of the Russell Maliphant Dance Company and an advisor to the College of the New Humanities. Harry has been elected a Fellow of The Royal Society of the Arts.
Griffiths’ distinguished career in regional theatre management has included twelve years as Chief Executive of the Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre Trust and, prior to that, ten years as Chief Executive of the Swan Theatre, High Wycombe. He is Chair of UK touring producer Music and Lyrics and of international dance promoter the Dance Consortium. He is a Council member of Arts Council Midlands. He was awarded an OBE in the 2015 New Year’s Honours for services to the arts in Birmingham.
