Jan Urbanowski began working with moving image and post production after developing techniques in special effects for film and television at companies such as Glassworks and CFC- Framestore. He progressed into design and editing, employed as a motion graphics director for CCLab where he composed music, edited and animated content. He became senior in-house editor at Flynn productions and then began his independent directing career working with Onedotzero.

Projects covered areas including live visuals, promos, installations, commercials and emergent technologies. Urbanowski has worked with Lady Gaga, George Michael, Nitin Sawhney and Pet Shop Boys. He works from his studio in London as an image maker, video designer, director, filmmaker and animator.
